The Manila Times
Language Institute Inc., is a family-owned corporation established
in January 2005. The board of The Manila Times Language Institute
Inc., is chaired by Mr. Rony V. Diaz. The rest of the board is
composed of the Ang family, who also owns The Manila Times
Publishing Corporation.
The Institute
began as a division of The Manila Times School of Journalism, to
teach Japanese journalism students. Now, The Manila Times Language
Institute, has added an English computerized program to help improve
English proficiency in the Philippines.
In our training
program, students learn and master the unique sounds contained in
standard American English, as well as develop good English
communication skills essential for people in any given field. Our
highly interactive program will provide them the edge, through its
mix of the traditional and non-traditional (computerized) method of
language training and assessment.
For the past ten
months, The Manila Times Language Institute has continued its growth
towards becoming one of the leading language institutes in the
Philippines, providing an exciting and totally innovative method of
teaching standard American English through the use of computers and
with the guidance of highly qualified facilitators.
The Manila Times
Language Institute is one of the newest sister company of The Manila
Times, the oldest English newspaper in the Philippines. The Manila
Times Language Institute, Inc., or TMTLI as we fondly refer to it,
was created as the means to realize one of the advocacy campaigns of
The Manila Times, ?To improve English proficiency in the
Philippines.?
This is fast
becoming a reality. In the past ten months we have acquired over 200
English proficiency students at our Pioneer location alone. To add
to this due to the increasing demand to learn English, we have
opened additional locations, one in Manila in San Fernando, Pampanga
and Marilao, Bulacan. |
